Digital products and the right of withdrawal
TE Productdevelopment exclusively sells digital products, including WordPress plugins and other software downloads. Under the European Consumer Rights Directive (implemented in Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium, provided that:
- performance has begun with your express prior consent, and
- you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
With every purchase through te-pd.nl, you expressly agree to immediate delivery and thereby waive your right of withdrawal. You’ll be asked to confirm this at checkout.
Our goodwill policy: 7-day money-back guarantee
While we’re not legally required to offer refunds on digital products, we operate a 7-day goodwill policy after purchase.
Within 7 days of purchase, you can request a refund if:
- the product technically doesn’t function as described on the product page, and
- you’ve given us the opportunity to resolve the issue but we haven’t succeeded
When is a refund not possible?
A refund request will be declined if:
- the 7 days after purchase have expired
- the product has demonstrably been downloaded and/or used and you’ve simply changed your mind
- the problems are caused by your own system, hosting, configuration, or incompatible third-party software
- you’ve violated the license terms
- you’ve previously received a refund for a product from TE Productdevelopment
How to request a refund
Send an email to info@te-pd.nl with:
- Your name and email address used for the order
- The order number
- A brief description of the problem
We’ll respond within 3 business days. If your request is approved, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 7 business days.
